In the collaborative project Multiverses, created by Ásta María Kjartansdóttir, Abraham Brody and Anna Fríða Jónsdóttir. The three artists attempted to unite different realms. Deeply rooted in the culture of Icelanders is the belief that we are surrounded by beings, living on different frequencies, elves, trolls, hidden people.
Tvísöngur is a sound sculpture with five domes harmonizing into a perfect fifth. Using the space of Tvísöngur they create five different frequencies combined into a harmonious moment where the four realms come together into a unified experience. The three artists play off and improvise with both the spaces and each other, tuning in and allowing the flow.
